If the connection test is informing you that your bandwidth is not capable of supporting video and audio, check your internet connection to see if you have the necessary bandwidth and signal strength. You can check Talaera's technical requirements here.

If you are experiencing connectivity issues, try to apply the following advice.

πŸ–₯️ Desktop and Laptop Computers
Talaera sessions are best experienced on a desktop or laptop computer. For the most reliable connection, connect your ethernet cable directly to the router. If you must use a wireless network, ensure you have a strong signal. Moving closer to the router can improve signal strength. If you're in an office or sharing a wireless router, be aware that the number of users connected can impact your bandwidth.

πŸ“± Phones and Tablets

The Talaera platform does not currently support mobile use. If you need to use Talaera on a mobile device, please contact us in advance at scheduling@talaera.com or inform your teacher. We can switch your sessions to Zoom to ensure a better experience.

πŸ’‘ Additional Advice

Please bear in mind that if there are multiple people connected to your router, your connection may be slower. If you experience prolonged or repeated periods of poor connectivity, please contact your internet provider or IT team at the office.

TIP: If you receive a message saying that audio, video, or both are not supported, no need to panic- you can still enter your session. If you do experience issues after entering, you can also switch to Zoom.
