How can I use the chat feature?

What is the Chat Tool?

The chat tool is a feature on the Talaera platform which allows you and your teacher to type messages. You can also translate the words from the messages.

❔How do I Use the Chat Tool?

  1. Enter your Talaera classroom

  2. Click the yellow "Chat" button on the top right corner of the screen

  3. Start typing messages!

💡TIP: To translate messages into your native language, just click the translation icon on the right side of the message:

How Can I See the Chat Transcript After Our Session?

There are two ways to get to the transcript of your in-session messages:

Option 1:

  1. Go to your Dashboard

  2. Scroll down to view "Past Sessions"

  3. Find the session you are looking for and click on "View Feedback"

  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see "Session Chat".

Option 2:

  1. Go to your My Progress page

  2. Find the session you are looking for and click on "View Feedback"

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see "Session Chat".
