Customizing Notification Preferences in Your Account Settings

To ensure you receive timely updates tailored to your needs, you can customize your notification preferences directly from your Account Settings. Follow these steps to personalize your notifications:

  1. Access Account Settings:

    • Log in to your Talaera account.

    • Click on your profile icon located at the top-right corner of the dashboard.

    • Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.

  2. Navigate to Notification Preferences:

    • Within Account Settings, locate the "Notification Preferences" section.

  3. Set Notification Preferences:

    • You'll find two sections: "Students" and "Personal"

    • For each notification type (e.g., missed lessons, inactivity alerts), choose your preferred method:

      • In-App Alerts: Receive notifications within the platform under the top right notification bell (πŸ””)

      • Email Alerts: Receive notifications via email.

      • Both: Opt to receive both in-app and email notifications.

  4. Customize Alert Thresholds:

    • For certain notifications, such as inactivity alerts, you can set specific thresholds (e.g., number of days of inactivity) to determine when you'll be notified.

    • After adjusting your preferences, click the "Save" button to apply the changes.

By personalizing your notification settings, you can stay informed about important updates and manage your teams needs more effectively.
